Estate and Gift Valuation

The following questions are not meant to require excessive time or research. Instead, we use these questions to better understand your valuation needs.

  1. What is your name, company, and contact information?
  2. What are your attorney and accountant’s contact information?
  3. What is the name of the entity to be valued? How is the entity formed (i.e. LLP, LLC, etc.)?
  4. What is the purpose of the valuation?
  5. How will the deliverable be used?
  6. How did you hear about Adams Capital?
  7. What is the interest to be valued?
  8. What is the valuation date?
  9. Is the entity an operating or holding company? If it is an operating company, please refer to our business valuation initial contact information questions.
  10. Does the entity directly invest in tangible and intangible assets or indirectly through other partnerships? If so, what is the nature of the entity’s investment into those partnerships (control/marketability restrictions)?
  11. What type of assets does the entity hold? What is your estimate of their value as of the Valuation Date?
  12. Will values be provided for all assets?
  13. Does a real estate valuation need to be performed?
  14. Are there any specific timelines that need to be considered in our deliverable due dates?
  15. Are there any unique issues we should be aware of (i.e. litigation, IRS audit, key persons, union activity, etc.)?
